Equine and Forest Therapeutic Group Programmes
Small Group Sessions (Spring & Summer Terms Only)
We are introducing two programmes, delivered in small groups – max 6 and staffed by:

A qualified Forest School teacher
-
A specialist member of staff with extensive equine therapy experience
Each session runs term time 1:15pm – 3:15pm and runs in 5 to 7 week blocks.
Tuesdays – Primary / Junior Age (Years 3 – 6, approx. ages 8–11)
Course title: Forest School and Basic Horse Care
Focus: Outdoor learning, emotional regulation, teamwork, and foundational equine care skills.
Thursdays – Senior School Age (Years 7–11, approx. ages 11–16)
Course title: Forest School and Equine Assisted Self Development
Focus: Emotional growth, confidence building, self-awareness, and therapeutic engagement through nature and horses.
Suitable For
These sessions are designed for children and young people who:

Can engage in small group learning

Would benefit from therapeutic, outdoor, and animal-assisted activities

Are supported through EHCPs or school placements
Additional Information

Bookings are half-termly ( 5 to 7 weeks per block)

Provision runs during Spring and Summer terms only due to weather conditions

Each participant will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course
Payment & Booking Options:
Our group sessions run half termly, we do currently have spaces available; however, availability is limited. You will need to complete the referral form and forms before we can offer you a space. Once your booking is confirmed you will receive confirmation of your booking and the invoice
Sessions Costings:
The sessions are charged at £60 +VAT for a two-hour session and are made half termly, so will be for a 5, 6 or 7 week period. Please see the costs per half term below,
