Our students have enjoyed a variety of themed weeks and taken part in the below activities:
Childhood Day, walk a mile for NSPCC, every student had the opportunity to get involved by walking our planned routes, either with our animals , with a ball or just with their staff. We raised an amazing £256.00
We also took part in the Great Big Green Week and looked at what action we can take to tackle climate change and protect nature.
Schools Sports week , our students were split into four teams and participated in a variety of sporting activities throughout the week to gain points for their team. This ranged from skipping, to archery, to races.
Insect week , our students learnt about all things insect and enjoyed bug hunting and learning some amazing facts.
Arts week, we encouraged our students to be creative and take part in this fun week. We offered pebble painting, tie dying, clay modelling and many more glitter, paint and glue filled crafts
Alongside this our students have learnt about animal care in the summer months, completed their developmental worksheet folders and prepared for the summer holidays.
Please enjoy some of the photos below of different activities and things going on.
