We warmly welcome the new students who have joined us this term. You have all settled in wonderfully. We also bid a heartfelt farewell to those who have left, we are wishing you all the best.
Below is a selection of the different activities students at Liberty Learning have participated in this term.
Forestry School -
Fire building and using the appropriate tools safely.
Enjoyed learning to cook various items like chocolate orange cake, toasting
marshmallows, s'mores, and hot chocolate.
Christmas -
Students are feeling festive and are enjoying wearing Christmas outfits and seeing staff in Christmas jumpers.
A student created an amazing interactive advent calendar, with a door for every student to involve everyone in the countdown to Christmas.
Made personalised handmade Christmas cards for all friends and family.
Christmas biscuit decorating.
Community Outreach -
Students participated in the tree decorating competition in Denford and decorated our own homemade Christmas tree.
Swept the local lanes in the village to keep them neat and tidy.
Raked leaves in the churchyard to maintain its tidiness.
Continued to maintain the war memorial by raking all the leaves.
Animals -
We had all the goats scanned to see what kids we are expecting next year.
Continued working on Poppet's agility and running through tunnels.
Gained 3 new African soft fur rats.
Some animals (pigs and goats) have moved to their new homes.
Arts and Crafts -
Poppy making as part of Remembrance Day.
Christmas-themed arts and crafts.
Christmas tree decorations.
Wreath making.
Students enjoyed making some clay hedgehogs.
Students have built hibernation huts for wild hedgehogs.
Other Activities -
Sensory play in the big tuff tray using sand and diggers.
Students have thoroughly enjoyed participating in sports this term and continued their pool competitions.
Musical instruments have been frequently used this term, and students have enjoyed learning to play the keyboard, guitar and just dancing around the room.
Enjoyed making their own snow as a sensory activity and built different items.
Made use of the polaroid camera, taken photos of animals and created their own collage of photos.
We have enjoyed a variety of sports like football, basketball, table tennis, badminton and so much more.
Students joined together and enjoyed different activities using the parachute.
Chill and Skill session -
